Routing Transactions

In the normal course of business there is confidential transactions and public static and reference data. Product master data and store location information would be considered public static and reference data(Store Master and Product Master). Deal pricing (Term Sheets) are highly confidential and will need to route directly to the counter party.

STF is built from the ground-up to understand these business practices and to provide the robust security for these situations.

Static and reference data

Master data that is deemed for public consumption is managed as a single input to the network from the product manufacturer or brand owner. This data is then made available to all participants on the network that have a business relationship with the data owner. This relationship is established through the onboarding process and is maintained through the participant management functions of the network. So you will decide who can see your data.

Routing to participants

Confidential transactions, such as pricing agreements, orders and invoices are routed directly to the counter party. The network ensures that only the intended recipient can see the data. The routing is effected by a directly coupled message bus between the parties and the network provides strict access controls to the message queue. The routing is established through the onboarding process and is maintained through the participant management functions of the network.

Multi-party transactions

Where there are multiple parties to a transaction, such as a three-way match between the buyer, seller and logistics partner or financer, the network supports this through its routing capabilities. Each party is granted access to the relevant parts of the transaction data, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained while still allowing for the necessary collaboration between parties.
